Smoky Mountain Montessori is dedicated to providing a secure learning environment, consisting of the facilities design, our policies and procedures, and continued education.

The conception of Smoky Mountain Montessori was established based on the need for Dr. Maria Montessori’s methods to be available in Maryville as an alternative to all families seeking her time-tested methodologies.

Smoky Mountain Montessori school follows the Maryville City Schools calendar. Currently there are two classrooms, the Young Children’s Community, (toddler) ages 13 months to 3 years old and the Early Childhood classroom ages 3 years old (potty trained) to 6 years old. Our natural playground and indoor playground are evolving and are being utilized by our students. They have helped us tremendously to see what does and doesn't work.
